About Me
Hi, I’m Sarah Banks and I am a trauma-informed yoga and movement whose techniques center on reconnecting the mind, body & spirit as well as the rediscovery of self through different modes of holistic healing and maintaining a natural, balanced lifestyle. With a background from Washington University in St. Louis, my unique approach toward healing integrates both the philosophies of Western & Eastern Medicines and bridges the gap between science and spirituality.
I am also the Creator of Greater than 3D: A Spiritual Health & Wellness Boutique and Healing Center, a project with a mission to create a community of spiritual, like-minded individuals in order to share knowledge about holistic healing, offer healthy natural alternative products & healing workshops and support small businesses along the way.
Many people know that a multitude of our every day items are laced with chemicals and poisons that can put us in a state of imbalance. Not many people, however know where to find healthy, safe alternatives. Greater than 3D provides a solution as each & every piece in our boutique is non-toxic, organic (where we can be), ethically sourced & meticulously hand-selected with the intention of spreading knowledge, balance & healing for the mind, body & spirit.

I MADE A CHOICE: TO HEAL HOLISTICALLY & NATURALLY
In 2015, I was in a near fatal car accident that left me with a metal rod implanted from hip to knee, screws in my elbow, scoliosis & a traumatic brain injury. In conjunction with another trauma in 2020, these stressors left me with C-PTSD and a debilitating chronic illness. As conventional medicine didn’t bring me the answers I needed, I decided to heal my mind, body & spirit naturally. Today, I am walking again and actively healing every day. I desire to share the techniques I learned along my healing journey in hope that they may inspire others in their healing journey.

Full Body Fascia Reset & Restorative Yoga
Restorative Yoga & Fascia Release
This introductory Restorative Yoga & Fascia Release experience will include deep stretching, gentle movements and breath work maneuvers in order to open up the fascia and release tension in the body. This practice is designed to reduce cortisol and stress levels, promote increased circulation and lymphatic drainage, and help to release tension and trapped energies in the fascia. You can expect to experience a slow paced, accessible, and restorative class accompanied by the beautiful acoustics of the Roman Pavilion surrounded by the trees of Tower Grove Park.
Class will be held from 6:00-7:00pm on Mondays at the Roman Pavilion at Toer Grove Park throughout the summer & will include a brief introduction, intention setting, fascia release, breathwork, yin yoga, and yoga nidra meditation/silent reflection.
NOTE: Class may be canceled due to harsh weather.

Chakra Healing Yin Yoga
This introductory trauma-informed Chakra Healing Yin Yoga experience will include deep stretching in order to open up the 7 Chakras and relieve tension in the fascia coupled with affirmations and healing frequencies. Each week we will be working through a different chakra during this 7-week long series.
You can expect to experience a slow paced, accessible, and restorative class. We will be exploring the different essential oils, crystals, yoga asanas, breath work & meditations that correspond to each chakra in order to clear out any blockages, open up the chakras and allow our life force energy (chi, prana) to flow balanced throughout our body.
Class will be held from 6:00-7:00pm on Thursdays at Tower Grove Park at the Roman Pavilion & will include an introduction, breath work, yin yoga & silent reflection/meditation. We recommend attending the full weekly series, but drop-ins will be welcome.
